A tangible rhythm sequencer. Ball bearings are used to trigger (Roland TR-808) drum sounds. Visual feedback is provided from a CRT display underneath to indicate the current time and the state of each beat. More information can be found at both my homepage: http://www.sarc.qub.ac.uk/~pbe... And my blog: http://petes-sonic-art-researc...

A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said,"Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00

In 1876, a young girl named Jenn was walking down a river, an insane man killed her by stabbing her in the back, raping her, and then hanging her in his closet. While he hanged her he said Bukakke Bukkake. Now that you have read this message, she will find you and her dead body will haunt your house for 5 years. Every night you go to sleep she will appear in your closet, hanging their with her glowing red eyes. repost 3 times to be saved

The audio is output from the computer. I recorded this in a noisy PhD lab, so rather than use the camera's microphone I just plugged the laptops output straight into the camera jack... hence the nice low kick drum.

how is the audio put out? i noticed it had some nice low frequency. does it just go to a computer?
peterdbennett (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
it just sends out MIDI notes, so you can trigger any sound you want with it.

Yes. No trickery involved! There is a newer and more robust version in development too. Keep an eye on my channel for updates...
