Position really doesn't matter. Its the frame of mind and the belief in what is being done that matters. If the persons own mind does not accept what is really going on then nothing can ever happen for them. The powers lie within the shaman to heal, and the believer to accept the help. If either are not 100% in their believes, then it all fails. Its hard for any shaman to gain 100% acceptance from persons any more in our current society of doubt, fear, and mistrust.

I guess a little pagan cleansing ceremony won't do no harm, it reminds me of the X-ray and MRI ceremony I had preformed on me in a hospital once when I hurt my back, I believe the person that took me there was some sort of warlord!

They are being cleansed of all negative thoughts. The man in the film is not sitting right though, I believe lotus would be more appropriate for this ceremony. Correct me if I am wrong. I think phubl needs a ego-cleansing.
