This sensei is good, looks like techniques from Tenshin Dojo where I've trained under a first generation black belt from Seagal. This guy has my approval of demonstrating the malice and brutality of aikido.

the sensei shows good skill and techique. I question the ability to fight someone with a knife. Good stuff to know. But this should be the very very very last option. The knife touches his wrist a couple times and the drill is preset. A real wild knife man would poke stab slice and it would be almost impossible to stop. Good drill, but does anyone actually think this would work most of the time?

I practice Wing Chun, and I want to combine Aikido with it because they appear very compatible; the grab and strike is just like a lop sau and throat strike/back fist.

That looks and sounds brutal. I suppose the option is there to break the neck if there is no other way, but I always saw Aikido as a means of defense and incapacitation. Respect Sensei.
