I loved Rupert from the moment we met! I gave up everything for him...a marriage, my family...it ended one blue moon 4 yrs later. At first I felt like this song...but now I know. I would not have loved him anyway! Even tho I love him still! Oh broken heart of mine! To say "it is better to have loved and lost than never loved at all" doesn't know the great pain of lost love.

this song descibes my first true love. i don't regret anything. he's the one person that i could be myself around at all times, good or bad. and even tho we're not together anymore i would have loved him anyway, do it all the same, i def wouldnt change a thing. and if i knew my heart would break i woulda luved him anyway

Once again this beautiful song comes into my life again. After 11 amazing years with the man I would spend my life with, I lost Lindy to cancer at the age of 36. My soul mate and partner thru eternity. I miss him so, but even if I had known he would pass, I would still have loved him anyway. He broke my heart the day he left, but fills my heart with the greatest joy I will ever know. His memory lives on with me and deep in my soul. I miss you Lindy, and love you more everyday. RIP
