I think its important to realize that several of the accusations brought up in the video, while being far from Christian beliefs, are not satanism. The term shaman, for example, dates back to ancient cultures but not usually associated with satanism. I hope you will continue to be inspired by Jim.

Aside from the misquoted lyrics, this video is quite convincing. I just don't want to think of Jim Morrison that way because he was my biggest musical influence as a musician, and i never once associated him with demonic possession. I always just attributed his lyrics to vague and mysterious creativity... but like i said, this video is very convincing... and part 2 is even more so. But very true it was most likely just LSD !

We all know Jim wasn't a saint but he was a man of the times. And it was, unfortunately, a time of mind altering drugs when not much was held sacred. While I don't know a great deal about The Doors, I recognized enough mistakes or out of context quotes in the video you mention to cast doubt on all of it. It doesn't convince me that Jim was possessed by anything but LSD.
