For all those people who are being critical, I say you won't reach this level even in a lifetime. Obviously, you don't know aikido. The flow and control in this documentory were just phenomenal.

You can make negative observations, and critique the techniques all you want, but keep in mind the "bigger picture." Yes, the demonstration was done slowly. That doesn't make it bad. If you want to see the true value in this, just take a closer look at how nage controls the line of attack. Don't focus so much on technique. Watch how he controls his attacker completely. Not too shabby I'd say!!!

of course, the senseis movements look very very relaxed here, but if you have your arms completely straight, it's bendable.
In Aikido, we youse "tegatana", the "sword-hand"; the correct elbow position is lightly curved to the wrist and fingers. In this way, you can keep your center power in tone

you are right! And in the Kata Dori Ikkyo he forgot totally the other hand (he lose the rips). The titel of "ZEN" it´s too beautiful, but O SENSEI was not "ZEN"... and Aikido it´s not a dance: IT´S a MARTIAL ARTE. The techniques are not only MOVE, or Ki or peace... they are a really situation of LIVE and dead.

In the shiho nage you bent your arms... that is not correct because you use your arm strengh. If you keep your arms straigh you colud use your center power.
