for me i think that her mum hurt her alot when she left... n' when she left she didnt call ,send an e.mail or even a post card i live with my dad n' my mum is 12 bocks away me and i miss her wen i dont c her 2 more than 2 day an' i cant imagine not bein without my mum or not even listenin 2 her voice tellin its okey wen i cry i think wat

The world of abuse was a different place back then Especially in the Carolina's there was no support for women when it came to abusive situations. I am sure fear was a factor, she did try to take Kelly with her. I speak from experience both as a victim and an advocate for abused women. I worked in a womens shelter for 5 yrs. Kellie give your mom a chance.

jvan READ YOUR BIBLE the bible clearly states that we are all GOD's creations but we are not all his children. In the bibe GOD say my sheep know my voice. God Commands us to love no matter what. If kelly Pickler mom was still in her life it would defeat the purpose of what GOD was trying to do in kellys life. Experiences give us things to sing about in our everyday songs. If kelly wouldn't have went through anything she wouldn't have anything to sing about. She prolly wouldn't even be a singer.

She could have taken Kellie with her. She was able to get away herself without people knowing...should have taken Kellie with her and not have told anyone.
On another note...had she taken Kellie with her we may not have her music to listen to.
There are 2 sides to every domestic violence story...you will never know how you will react unless you are in that situation.

How can you tell her to forgive her? Its none of your bsiness to begin with and her mother just happens to come back when Kellies famous, her moms obviously just using her and dont u think that kellie would know the common sense stuff it probably hurt her alot growing up.

first, everyone is a child of god no matter what, no one is a child of the devil, that's giving the devil too much credit, he's not that powerful. Kellie's choice to not forgive her mother is justified because her mother hasn't bothered to contact Kellie til now when she happens to be famous. Her mother should've done more to keep Kellie out of that abusive situation, if her mother was even abused ! her story's pretty shady. |
