its not the official vid lol and i agree with rockmealr i am into metal mainly but there is summing about this song, plus travis rice one of the best and my fav pro boarder uses it in one of his sections of the dvd "thats it thats all" and it fits so well

I like this song a lot. And im more into rock metal death metal. But i like to switch it up once in a while with music i like not what everyone else likes. So yeah dont try and trash on it. If i liked it and im hard to convince why can't people just accept it. And lol to nedyken bout the girl looking like michael jackson. Great song stop complaining and dont watch it get over it dude-*for anyone hating on the song*

well i mean... the song rocks. But you're right about the video. It's a bunch of random clips slapped together. If you put a less interesting song in the background it would flat out stink. Put Michael Jackson's "Black or White" in the background... the chick in it looks like MJ anyways.

Dang swedikiwi1 you wrote a book about how greek dude was wrong lol. He is looking for attention, just don't give him any, the video got 5 mil views and perfect 5 stars. Great song, video was visually entertaining to me, I don't care how much work they put into it, well worth the watch.

In defense of GreekGuy9999 ... he's right. The video is very weak. The song is fantastic. Put some pretty people in facepaint have them lipsync to the song ... big deal.
Also... this video has 5 million views. Whether or not MGMT backed the video... it still ended up being solid viral marketing. It wouldn't be the first time a major label artist release a "crappy" video on youtube and pawned it off as "fan made". Wolfmother did it with the "defaced" version of "White Unicorn"

I totally agree kiwi. He doesn't get it, he doesn't like it, which is cool until he crosses the line trying to be an authority, on some objective level, on what good and bad is.
I don't care if it took one hour to shoot, one hour to find the clips, and one hour to edit. People like what they like! Moreover, I HATE ALMOST ALL TELEVISION PROGRAMS. The formality and lack of creativity is just simply unappealing. This video is very appealing.
