There should be a merger taking place with ITF and WTF as there is a technical intergration committee. I am NZ rep for ITF. I will be going to Russia 2009, I think Chang Ung is great person who knows exactly what he doing. General Choi Hong Hi wanted ITF in olympics and he will make it happen as he chose him to be his successor!

your comparing a martial art to a brand martial art. karate to wtf dont you mean taekwondo. taekwondos been around for years it was used by the korean army. i myself am in a taekwondo academy and i have to say this olympic business with your hands down pfffftttt its a tradition that doesnt work. and who evers talking about mma, taekwondo helps alot. im a trained mma figter and without my tkd i would find my self stuck sometimes. stop talking trash on the key board and get out there and train!

Karate has a much longer history than WTF TaeTaeDo. The first public demonstration of Karate in Japan was in 1917 (WTF was founded in 1973). Although the World Karate Federation has over 130 member countries, Karate has yet to be voted an Olympic sport. But why WTF TaeTaeDo is an Olympic sport? The success of WTF TaeTaeDo's inclusion in the Olympics has often been clouded in scandal and attributed to Dr. Kim Un Yong. He is best known for his bribery conviction and alleged bribery of IOC members.

Olympic TaeTaeDo Briefing: As Dr. Kim Un Yong, President of WTF (1973-2004), was arrested in January 2004 facing bribery charges including misuse of his Olympic position, he had allegedly turned TaeTaeDo into an Olympic sport through bribing other IOC members. He was sentenced to two and half years in prison for bribery and embezzlement in June 2004.

WTF is wrong with these WTF suckers? I hate the fact that they're putting their hands down and tapping each other with their foot. WTF is pretty much one of a kind type of shit. WTF suckers cannot adapt their tapping skills and run-around moves into any other fighting competitions like K-1, Full-contact Karate and MMA. WTF is Suckskwondo!
