Oh I think this tempo is lovely. Natalia Gutman is one of the all time greats. She plays it light and clean and keeps it moving. Her cadenza is beautiful and the whole piece sparkles. I just adore her.

A little too fast for my taste and the tone was slightly off. I like the interpretation though and truthfully the quality of the video doesn't really show her true skill in depth.

She LOOKS like Rostropovich... lol OK that was harsh, I did'nt like it until her awesome cadenza, though.

I can actually play this piece, and it is in 4/4, it says it is marked moderato. I know a lot of people who play this piece at that pace, and it is not allegro. I think you should check again before you go making remarks like that, einstein.

Madame Gutman n'a jamais quitté les sommets de la musique:-on en arrive à ne plus s'étonner de son génie qui paraît inépuisable

the rythm is to fast, and the conductor is fucking crazy:))... i don't like the cellist, she has no interpretation

I hate her tempo and rhythm. She is okay. Her bowing technique reminds me of Han-Na Chang.
