I recall turning on someone to coldplays music and in particular singer Chris. Initially she just didn't 'get it'..but now after some time and listening more closely, allowing the quality of the songs to marinate a bit...she now surely does, "Lovit!!". Patience is important, in ...everything.

wrong, permission was never asked and kraftwerk settled out of court.

The band received permission from the electronic music German band Kraftwerk to use the main riff from their song "Computer Love" from their 1981 studio LP Computer World (German: Computerwelt), for "Talk", replacing Kraftwerk's synthesizers with guitars. Chris told the story of writing to Kraftwerk, asking permission, and, after several weeks, receiving a letter back from the band that simply said, "Yes." [from Wiki] People should stop accusing Coldplay of plagiarism. Chris is astute.
