I practice japanese jiu-jistu as self deffence and i am doing it for 2 years and beleave jiu-jitsu no matter what style of jiu-jitsu: japanese jj, bjj or gracie jj. It's the best sport there is.

Bas Rutten did Taekwondo and he was one of the best to do MMA. but he also did about 3 others but he had lethal kicks as a result

Correct me if Im wrong but didnt b.j.j come from judo taught be Maeda. Also if you watch Kamura vs Halio on youtube the Gracie commentator refers to Kamura as a jujutsu fighter not a judoka. The Gracies deserve allot of respect but are somehow embarrassed by judo, I dont understand.
