Listen, douchebag, all I did was tell you who should have been on the '92 American Olympic squad had everyone in the league been available. You had to go and run your fucking mouth about that which you don't have a clue. It's your generation of NBA fans that are attempting to ruin the legacies of players you never even saw play. Next time just keep your mouth shut and stick to what you know (i.e. shotguns and sodomizing pigs).

Geez....Shut the fuck up already. Don't you have homework to do or something?

Stockton - 1,504 games Isiah - 979 games Magic - 906 games And you wonder why Stockton has more assists than these two?! Idiot. Isiah made 3 consecutive All NBA First teams. Averaged over 9 assists and 19pts a game for his career, two All Star MVPs, and led his team to 2 straight titles with a Finals MVP in '90. Stockton's first All NBA selection didn't come until '94. Look at what Magic and Isiah did in terms of pts and rebs compared to Stockton. You've clearly got a grudge against Isiah.

That bullshit about no defense in all star games is just that, bullshit. They certainly step up their play in the 4th quarter if things get tight. But you obviously haven't seen too many of those. Don't play fantasy football, no surprise about you being way off there. Thomas and Magic are both better point guards. There's no disputing it. John was a text book guard. Zeke and Magic had a greater repertoire of moves. They were capable of adding style to their game.

"As far as the "right mix" goes, that's why I mentioned Isiah's all star assists." In all star games, any stat means little because they don't play defense. Let me guess - you play fantasy football too? I played basketball for years it's not just about "best" in points, assists. Anyone who knows NBA knows John Stockton was a GREAT (not good or 2nd best) point guard. Hall of fame - all time assist leader. Look it up. I feel like I'm talking to one of Isiah's 10 kids (or how many he has) here.

"A bullshit stat"?!? Did you freely take those clueless pills or were they force-fed to you as a child? As far as the "right mix" goes, that's why I mentioned Isiah's all star assists. The main point here is that Isiah was easily the better point guard of the two. If you don't know that, then your knowledge of the NBA is clearly limited to the 90s and onward. What I wanted was the best available players from the NBA, not the second or third best and certainly not some college player.

You still have to play together aand have the right mix. I see you are a stat watcher ("9 assists per game in all star games"?). Talk about a bullshit stat. Who cares? I think the results were great, don't you? Did you want to beat Angola by 75 instead of 50? People a lot smarter than you picked the team so can we drop this now....

The Dream Team was supposed to be about the best players in the game, not which men would make the best political candidates. I don't see how you could think Stockton was a better fit. All you really need to look at are Isiah's All-Star numbers. He handed out about 9 assists per game. Isiah played very well among his superstar peers. Isiah-led teams beat Jordan's Bulls, Bird's Celtics, and Magic's Lakers for 2 titles. It's about the best available coming together to win for their country.

Personality and politicking had a lot to do with it I'm sure. Isiah was not short on enemies in the league. I still think Stockton was a better fit on this type of team of superstars - including for his own teammate Karl Malone. I'm obviously not alone in thinking that is that is what happened. Doesn't matter. Gold was automatic either way.

I know that Olajuwon hadn't yet obtained American citizenship but that's beside the point. He was a much better center than Ewing. The misconception about Dominique is that he was merely an exciting dunker. Completely false. He had a great all around game and was a phenomenal talent. He would have fit right in on that team. Isiah is hands down the better point guard. Better shooter, ball handler, passer, quicker. Isiah was not a selfish point guard by any means. And I know about Laettner.
