this technique is cool LOOKING, but it takes way to long and the last part where he transitions his leg in front of his face to finish the bar allows way to much room, you could try this in a bout but my gut instinct tells me that any one of my students would just yank their arm back saying "thanks for the room" when they do it. You have to stay much tighter than this for an armbar from the guard to be effective

I do Armbars in a less complicated way, the technique shown here is good but its a bit of a long thing, gotta keep 'em simple but effective!!!

To be Honest No one is perfect!!! Armbars can be done many ways, theres alot of variations, As long as its EFFECTIVE and WELL it works.

Yeah this is pretty sloppy, and partially because he is not flexible enough to set it up right, so he uses extra steps ,at the point when he crosses his ankles a good grappler would just posture up and shuck his legs by for an easy guard pass. i bait people all the time with this. lame video man.
