I tried leather jump rope but its hard to do tricks with it and it broke after a while. tried everlast speed rope the $6 one. and it broke at the handles the same day. tried go fit speed rope it breaks the second day. I think I bought 6 of the go fit last 2 weeks that $60 each. I have been jumping for 3 years and i getting really good at it and i am addicted to it too. I add ankles, wrists weights. But yet i can not buy a new one every other day. Any advice??

I've been in many boxing gyms and I've never encountered anyone with skills w/ the rope like PBF. I challenge you to find another fighter that comes close to what PBF does, and I don't mean the simple double-unders or squatting tricks because that's old school (so you can rule out Duran, Sugar Ray, and Ali).
Don't try to downplay someone's skill just because you can't match it.

Exactly. Cotto in fact ducked Floyd first when he still was with Bob Arum, Arum said "Cotto's not ready for Floyd". Margarito doesn't even have the style to beat Floyd, his hands are really slow for a welterweight and he beats guys who rely too much on their power, but his style is purely a brawler's with he needs to bring in the sweet science to the ring otherwise he looses an unanimous decision against Mayweather. |
