well it was devoloped by african slave who were brought to brazil it was first devolped in the 16 th century usaly as a form of dance and some people belived it originated in africa but slaves used it in brazil to continue tradition

yea they do but i wonder if brazilians started break dancing or did sum visiters see them doin capoeira and thought they could do it to, and it just changed from time?

yea they didnt have no hand combat cuz many west african tribes beleive that the hands are for creating and the feet for destroying and plus cuz the slaves wore shacles on their arms all the time except for their legs

break dancing and capoeira are related in the sence the both have west african roots while break dancing was in the u.s capoerai was in brazil the both come from i think an African martail art
