Hi, do you know this algorithm for solving the second layer. It's only 7 moves. The "cross piece" that need to go down is to the left of the upper leftmost piece (or the "north" piece of the "cross") and it has to have the color of the side that is facing you, be facing upwards. Then it's just: F U Fi Ui Li Ui L. Maybe it can sometimes save a move.

Do the algorithm you'd do if you had the L, and you should get to an L or a line no problem. |
