John McLaughlin performing his "Mediterranean Concerto" for guitar and orchestra live with the Munich Philharmonic in 1989. This piece is a modern example of so-called "Third Stream" music, i.e., combination of jazz and classical. yeh, I absolutely love him. Unfortunately he's been around for like 30+ years so It's likely he'll ever become internationally famous

Yes, but internationaly he is still "unknown". None of my friends here in Denmark ever heard of him. Thats what i meant. I know he is touring alot now, but still havent been on british tv for instance! He is ofcorse an awesome guitar personality and its only a matter of time. cheers.
