okay the one dude doesnt seem to be doing muay thai
and quit making fun of other peoples martial arts
muay thai is not better than capoeira and capoeira is not better than muay thai
just because a muay thai boxer won against a capoeira guy doent mean that muay thai is necessarily better
you might have a capoeira guy win... does that mean capoeira is better?
of course not
share eachothers ideas and embrace them rather than shun them and speak negatively about them

Well, I agree with one thing.. "capoeira is not meant to be used in a real fight". Using Capoeira in a real fight is a good way to lose a fight. It's more of a dance than a fighting method. In fact, that's exactly how it was designed, as a dance. What you are wrong about is "many MMA fighters use it". No they don't. (not successful fighters) Capoeira is meant for show, and nothing more. It's flashy and fun to watch, but will NEVER win a fight. MMA utilizes a mixture of Muay Thai and BJJ.

capoeira is not meant to be used in a real fight. it is a supportive martial art, that's why many MMA fighters use it. because its good for many things such as endurance, flexibility, balance, and speed. Yes the moves do wast a lot of energy. but however many of the capoiera rodas can often go on for longer than a boxing match, without breaks!.

What are we still living in 1986? Wushu? Shaolin kung fu? Are you serious? Have you been living under a rock for the past 15 years? There's an event called the UFC (and the sport called MMA) that pretty much answered what actually works in a real fight. It all comes down to Muay Thai (for stand up) and Brazillian Jui-Jitsu (for the ground). All the other so called "styles" are pretty much BS.
PS: Capoeira would get KILLED by Muay Thai 100% of the time.

? hmmm nice vid lol buuuuut muy thai cool =] lmao but i say wushu still stronger then these fighting styles or shaolin kung fu bc shaolin kung fu helps develope the body to b strong enough to take punches and kiks
