Though I feel that Heifetz's version had cleaner transitions and sound, Chang's version gave me a better appreciation at how difficult this piece is now that I am learning it:)

I've gotten the music for this and am super excited to play it though it is way above my level, which means I can cherish it and work on it longer:)

Sorry if my response to natm's post seemed rude. It wasn't intentional. I was just giving my take on where he seemed to be coming from. His apparent labeling of Sarah Chang's playing as "materialistic" made no sense at all and seemed to be a putdown of a musician whose soul-felt playing is anything but materialistic.
