By the way - how useful is BJJ vs multiple opponents? Let's say 4 vs 5? ; )

seagal's movies are unrealistic you cannot throw and do jointlocks on people in real life like he does on his movies. aikido looks beautiful but its very impractical bcoz people know how to resist and shift their center of gravity. even aikido masters cant do it like that in a real fight.

If you wonder how Aikido can be used offensively watch Steven Seagal movies ;) Aikido takes looong time to master ;/

What school is this? I mean this is aikikai, don't you? the perform of the sankyo eventhough is completely correct, it is rare, 'cause he doesn´t control the arm only the points of the hand. I like this variation, I used to practise more the control of the wrist and forearm during this technique. (sorry about my English)

I understand your point leroy but if you do this technique at any sort of speed with intent you'll snap the guy's wrist. This is a HORRIBLE technique and the pain is difficult to describe. At it's worst it makes you physically sick - it's not like the pain from a punch or a kick. No muscle on your wrist, so you have to build up a resistance by constant practice - but it still hurts!!The real skill is to this with the minimum of pain but still retaining 100% control - that's real martial arts.
