Head on over to Sirius[.]com and take a peek. Listening through the 'physical radio' is only available in North America. I think you can listen online around the world though. I imagine they have a 3 day trial or something so you can listen and see if you would like it. It is GREAT STUFF. Commercial free music is the best!!

Hi, RoC1909. You have mentioned Satellite radio. Is it available worldwide or only in the USA? Could I adjust my Internet to listen to this radio?

There you go. I am a HUGE fan of both bands you mention. Scorpions is one of my favorites and just this month in Guitar World magazine, they had a article with the man himself, Tony Iommi. I am like you, I enjoy ballads. The Scorpions made some incredible ballads! As for the goth bands you mentioned, I am not familiar with any of them but then again, I only listen to a few specific stations (when I can) on Satellite radio. They might be on other stations that I don't listen to much though.

As for me, I also like some hard rock bands like Black Sabbath or Scorpions. Especially slow and melodic compositions considered as ballads. But I haven't heard about bands you enumerated. What's about gothic, can say, that many young people in our country wear "firm gothic" clothes and have an appropriate make-up. My favorite goth band are Elend, Dargaard, Arcana and many more. I don't know, are they popular in USA/Canada, but in Western and Eastern Europe they are well-know.

I myself, only listen to Sirius radio and it's pretty much Hard Attack, Howard Stern, Faction , Octane or Hair Nation. All of these are pretty much in the ROCK category. Like you, I am not a fan of "bubble gum" pop in the least and unlike you, I am sure people listen to goth but I couldn't name a goth singer / group if you yanked my fingernails out. I have a couple of kids in my complex who 'sort' of dress gothic though.

What kind of music, to your mind, is popular in the USA now? Actually, I don't like pop music at all, especially such "chewing gummy" like Geri Halliwell and so on. That's for me, I'm an admirer of gothic. Does anybody listen to the gothic in USA?

In America, we hardly EVER hear or see her. I can understand certain countries having her more than others though. I used to think she was hot when younger. Now, she doesn't look all that great.

That's impossible not to watch her. Because she's everywhere on TV and not only. One more reason I've sreached for her videos is a desire to send my post about relation to her. Perhaps you mean, that I'm sexually unsatisfied. That's wrong. Wenches like Gery and even better are not very expensive - only 150-180$ per hour. Guess, that's suitable.
