u have two options 1) either u switch to XP and wait until its gonna be extremely slow 2) Use Linux: free OS, u can always find alternative programs (e.g. utorrent alternative in linux = bittornado or any other good client) AND it has a free software called "wine" .. using wine, u can USE WINDOWS PROGRAMS ON LINUX!!

i use Camstudio on my Vista and its all good!!and anything i download,i can use after its done..idk wat u be downloadin,lol! Vista is good so far!!
