Nicholas Cage just did a radio interview for Bangkok Dangerous in Portland, OR. When they asked him to do a sound bite for their radio program, he turned it down, saying that he doesn't do radio spots from interviews. Funny how he would do this commercial for this product. I guess all it takes is the right amount of cash.

English in Japan is like Japanese here in the United States. It doesn't have to make sense to them, the fact remains that it's English, and that instantly makes it popular. That's why you get horribly mangled English, or Engrish as most know it, on clothing and products. It's something foreign, so that boosts its popularity.
