Holmes was way past it by the time he fought Tyson. A young Larry Holmes would of took Tyson to school, before knocking him out.

Tyson was actually 23 when he got KO'd by Douglas. I keep on telling people this. Tyson went into the ring with 2 decent boxers before he was knocked out. And that was Tony Tucker and Razor Ruddock. Tyson struggled to beat both of them. EVERYONE else was a bum. Apart from Larry Holmes who was 40 years old.

You don't know what you're talking about, how can you say Tyson knocked out bums. He knocked out Larry Holmes, who later in his career went the distance with Holyfield and Mercer.

Tyson was 24 when Buster Douglas annihilated him...are you sad deluded Tyson fans seriously saying he was washed up by the age of 24? And that every fight after that can be discounted because he was past his prime? Tyson was great at knocking out bums and that's it.

This guy had the most unstopable knockout punch in history. I think Tyson in his prime was also the most unstopable fighter of all time. Terrible excuse for a human being...the world would be a better place if he died....but amazing fighter nonetheless.

Those who say Mike Tyson was never tested. Learn the history and watch the whole fight between he and james Quick Tillis. Tillis put the fight off 3 months to get in better shape. He was a top 3 competitor. Mike got rocked and hurt

you have to be the biggest idiot ever when tyson fought buster duglas he was fat and when he went to jail thats when he came out different he was a beast in his prime their is no question about it he demolished apponents holyfeild lewis didnt fight him until he was over the hill with all his mental problems and jail issues so what are you talking about moron.

Mike Tyson was just a bully, who if he couldn't intimidate his opponents usually ended up getting knocked out. Tyson was never in a war and won, sure he looked great knocking out has-been and bums. but the moment someone refused to be intimidated and fought back Tyson got stopped. Buster Douglas was a bum, but he dribbled Tyson like a basketball for ten rounds before knocking him the fuck out. Tyson was in his prime at the time to. Great fighters don't lose to bums
