Plastic balls at the end help on teeth damage.. or I've got a gold plated bar, this is said to be better for your teeth as the metal is softer then Stainless. Hope this helps. Don't be one of those kids that plays with it and sticks it out all the time. Guys like me loves to pull on the fresh ones. Have fun.

The clamp probably hurts the most ( for the actual piercing of the tongue) but it's the healing after that's a cunt. Mine took about a week for all the swelling to go down. The best was finally stretching out your tongue, feels so go. As for the infection part, well your tongue is the fast healer and saliva does it's job. Rinse out your mouth after meals, any soda and alcohol oh and try and stay away from ciggies for the first week...oh and long bar to start with, then go shorter as time goes..

i really wanna get mine done pretty soon, but im really scared aout getting an infection. so to prevent it do you just rinse your mouth out with mouth was after every meal? and i heard it might screw up your teeth if you arent careful.. is that true?

lol yea :( i went 2 th back room with th lady nd she was ly stick it out a far as u can.. i did.nd she was lyk rly? nd i was lyk..thts it.lol she said nooo sweety..its too short.. but..there was a sale.35 for all piercings tht daynd im not 1 to pass up sales.lol..so i was jus lyk..im gettn sumthn done!

it doesn't hurt. i got mine done about two months ago. i didn't think the clamps were that bad. it wasn't painless; all i felt was a pinch of pain as the needle went in, but as soon i felt it, it was over. honestly the process is so quick, you don't even realize you've been pierced. lol. and the healing process is quick, too. the first two weeks really suck, though, because it's really sore, but after that, you'll TOTALLY love it. i love playing with mine, and getting new jewelry. good luck!

I got mine done last saturday the worst part were the clamps, because the girl had to pull out my tongue(its kinda short0. Its fine now, swelling is gone.
