Yes, this synth is actually a monophonic synth built from a polyphonic divide-down engine. The single oscillator is divided into multiple octaves!
I don't know how much it would go for... they just aren't common enough to track!

ah, and on these things you can turn on multiple octaves at once. This one has the phattest sound i ever heard (2:07 - 2:12) how much (aprox.) would it set me back?

It is old terminology brought to synthesizers from organs... it used to indicate octave by pipe length, now it is just a way to designate octaves.
