So much more than I could do.
But they should feel like cattle.

I feel like a spectator at a circus.

For a lot of these kids living in the wrong reality, they will find out the truth far too late and the hard way. Unfortunately, these days, finding things out the hard way doesn't lead to enlightenment and salvation, but directly to a body bag.

Of course the real world seems weak compared to the fictional one, these monks have to live without special effects, wires, computer animation and stunt doubles.
Compared to the fake world, indeed, the real world looks very weak.

The problem with people who talk down about the Shaolin is they have no way to separate real life from fictional life.
Even just 20 years ago, we all spent 90% of our time in the REAL WORLD. Once in a while we might be able to save up the $ to play at the Video Arcade (for one day) or go see a movie.
Now our children spend 80% of the time in the fictional world with hundreds
