I dont y people r blaming Kent and Rick for losing I blame the farrier for not putting on the horseshoe on tight enough! Damn!

To txkinsler~His shoe on his hind leg, became dislodged. If you type in Big Brown on google, and go to image, there is a picture showing the shoe disldged.

Aww im so mad they retired him, he was going to go so far in his career!!! But i guess it was for the best. At least he wont get hurt from racing, i hope he can live a happy retirement now!! And for people who are saying crap about Big Brown, it wasnt his fault he lost this race, his shoe on his right hind leg became dislodged, he couldnt help it, so just leave the poor guy alone!!

A hoof injury ends Big Browns racing career.. he was hurt while training for the next race... sorry to tell you.Please ask questions if wanted on my channel....sorry to tell you again. But someone needed to...please leave comments on my channel to ask questions....

i think Big Brown just looked out of shape here, ridden handy and driven out about 4 furlongs too soon. The hoof caused Dutrow to not give him a real workout, so he wasn't race ready. Dutrows fault

Either Big Brown wasn't feeling that well or this was a disappointing race. Thank God for Secretariat and Man O' War:-) The legend lives on...
