ok nonononononon he was the first person to break character constantly and not even resist it. he made it okay to break character. it it VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO BREAK CHARACTER.

yeah, i agree, i always thought it was hilarious that he would break character all the time. he certainly didn't ruin SNL, i think it's just that the writers aren't as good now, cause the current skits just don't seem to be on par with stuff from the past

A lot of actors break character on SNL, that's what makes us know they think it's funny too. And they get an applause for it because everyone wants to know they're doing a great job. You think he ruined SNL? I think SNL is screwed this season. They have boring skits and the jokes aren't cuttin' it. I'm sorry Jimmy Fallon did not ruin SNL.

i hate him. he ruined snl. f-ing ruined it. 'oh jimmy broke character all the time so its ok for me to do it!' that's what is in the minds of most of the people who are on snl now. what a jerk. ruined. i mean, hes funny and all and hes talented, but he sucks at life.
