Yoseikan Aikido includes basics and fundamental kata from karate to make sure that the attacker is as effective and sincere in attack. Yoseikan Aikido includes a lot of judo Techniques too

yes there are different kinds of aikido. Aikido yoseikan of Muchizuki sensei is the most effective style.
