this was composed by gordon lighfoot. look at dylan's track listings - he credits lighfoot. dylan's cover was releasedt in 1970. lightfoot wrote it in 1964. sorry - but this one's a done deal - even though it is often attributed to bob - he simply covered it.

this song was wrote by Gordon Lighfoot. Dylan did a cover, I think in Selfportrait. In fact Dylan was lookin' that time for the sound of Lighfoot (with Charlie McCoy and Kenny Buttrey, between others..) Take a look in John Wesley Harding album, or New Mornig. Al César lo que es del César.
